Finishing salts are added to food at the end of cooking for extra color and flavor. This salt pairs well with strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, rhubarb, chard, cilantro, chocolate, salmon, mackerel, lamb, gruyere cheese, melon, and cream.
Only a little pinch is needed. A small jar of exquisite ingredients goes a long way. Use sparingly.
